Just bought a frame that accepts a 142x12 maxle (Trek Remedy). Now need to convert my 'standard' 135mm QR rear Pro2 EVO hub to 142 x 12.

Hope and CRC list two types of conversion kits

Pro 2 EVO Rear 12mm Thro Conversion Kit (HUB241) and
Pro 2 EVO Rear X12 Thro Conversion Kit (HUB242)

Which one should I use?

I think the first one has a rough edge to the spacer, to grip the dropout (like on a std 135mm spacer) whereas the second one is a pure, smooth spacer. Sound plausible?

Doesn't tell me which I need but I guess the second...

Pretty sure it's the X12 you need...

I think so too. I think the first one is 135 x 12 and the second is the proper 142 x 12

"X12" means 142mm x 12mm
