I have a contour roam, which I have mounted on my lid, problem is when I am going down stuff that rough the picture is very shaky, would altering the frame rate help in any way its set at 30 fps on full hd

Might sound a bit obvious, but how tight is your helmet, most of the shake I have experienced was more to do with my helmet shaking rather than the camera on the mount. I have been pleasantly surprised how stable it has been on either setting. (It could be that I am just not quick enough to make it shake :roll:)

I have used the contour profile mount and also tried the flexi strap on a different helmet. The profile mount was better IMO.
