Got some oil on some brand new pads (1 week old.) Does sticking them in an oven restore them?

Yes, although it does depend on how much oil and how long they were contaminated for.

Not sure, you'll probably need to do something to get rid of the oil first.

I've rejuvenated pads by soaking them in isopropyl alcohol – and then setting fire to them. 🙂

Wash them first with soapy water, then put them on the hot plate, put the extractor on full balst and turn on for a few minutes, remember they will be really hot, pick up with a pliers.
