So say you buy a bike or parts today and then next week the same bike shop sends you an email saying 25%off etc, can you ask them for a refund.

Same with Pcworld, they seem to reduce their stuff by massive amounts, so any chance of a refund down to the cheapest price, or just return it for a refund and buy another at the lower price.

If you have used it, No.

depends on their return policy. generally places like PC world etc tend to have good return policies so you could, potentially do this so long as you satisfy their returns procedure: not used, saleable condition etc.

usually not a good idea to tell them the real reason you’re returning it for!

Say you bought a house last year and the value has gone down by £10,000 would you expect to be able to ask for that money back ?
Or imagine the bike parts had gone up 25% would you feel OK if you were asked to stump up the extra ?

How do you know that they aren’t offering the 25% discount to try and shift some kit to allow them to stay afloat?
