What are the conditions like at Sherwood Pines at the moment?

Some forums seem to suggest that it is pretty bad. THinking about going up at some point over the long weekend, is it dry or is it still a quagmire that some people lead us to believe? Other stuff in the East Midlands seems to be ok at the moment.

I’ve just found the map by ‘thefallguy’. anyone know what all the different colours mean? i can work out the fireroads and the Kitchener Trail but what about the thin red, dotted thin red, thick white and thick white with thin red over the top?

    Swoosh,

    Key to trails as follows….

Solid white line with blue centre = Kitchener trail

Solid white lines = Most popular singletrack or routes I use most

Solid red lines = original (pre Kitchener) doubletrack

Dashed red lines = original singletrack

Smaller dash red lines = original singletrack + more technical /overgrown/ muddy etc

Brown lines = fireroads and doubletrack
