If you’re in the North next year in early May and fancy a very convivial 30 miler on a mix of lanes, some road, bits of quarry and then, just when you think it’s all a bit easy some interesting stepped off road rocky bits give this a go next year. Based near Huddersfield it’s a top way of getting round a different bit of the world and about as far from ‘try hard XC’ as you can get. Everyone’s trying but not pretending there’s a podium at the end.
About 1500m over 30 miles. One grassy bank of push.
