A few people mentioned on another thread that they might get one of these from Clas Ohlson.

Did anyone get one and did they prove to be any good?

Got one at Xmas to myself as a ‘treat’.
It’s awesome, very happy with it.
Blows just air or has 2 heat settings.
Timer up to 60 mins or constant on.
Dried my wet five tens in about 3 hours, was also on duty doing wellies and gloves. I stick my lid on the glove attachment too.
Good for pre-warming my shoes I left in the cold porch, avoiding starting a ride with cold toes!

So good, tempted to find a way to pack it for a ski holiday as my boots somehow always get soaking and leak through the toe box overlap.

We’ve got one at home and it’s excellent for all the bike stuff and kids gear as well.

All I need now is a drying cabinet like at work

What’s wrong with just stuffing shoes with newspaper?

    Always works for me.

Is this to be the next STW niche item?

    I’m still tempted!

We don’t buy newspapers. Didn’t want my phone to get wet and not sure that would work.

I treated myself when they were selling for £15 😀
It did my wet Five tens in an hour or so on first tryout.

I’ve got cheap ebay ones (not wallmounted, just loose on wires) which are worth their weight in gold, nothing like as powerful as these things but left overnight they do a good job
