    Planning a camping trip for a couple of families in Porlock, just wondering if its open for outsiders?

    Is it held the same week every year?

    What do you mean by outsiders? Best to ask Charlie the Bikemonger – he 'organises' the 'race'.

    There are no 'insiders', everyone is an outsider and there is no organiser. Ship Inn, Porlock. 3pm on the first saturday in July.

    Don't forget to bring the correct bike too – no mountain bikes! Shoppers, old BMXs, grandads bike – stuff like that.
