I want to see Sucker Punch but it’s out on Friday…

Limitless is supposed to be good, I’m planning to see it tomorrow.

2nd for Submarine, and Fair Game looked ok. Depends what You like to watch.

True Grit is excellent if it’s still on

Went to see the eagle – crap acting, loads of violence and fine Scottish scenery. Go with low expectations and you won’t be disappinted.

I want to see Norwegian Wood but it doesn’t seem to be on in the backwater that is Shropshire.

True Grit and Animal Kingdom were brilliant, but not sure if they are still showing. True Grit is one of the best films I’ve seen for a long long time…

Can’t be watching cartoons without the kids in tow, if they found out there’d be trouble!!! Looking at the listings it looks like it’s a choice between limitless and the liam neeson one.

There’s a nice cinema in Huddersfield that’s worth visiting.

I’m off to see Blue Valentine tonight – mainly because of the lovely Michelle Williams.

I expect to be thoroughly depressed by the end of it. 😈

For my money, The Fighter’s good, Biutiful is excellent, True Grit is good, The Portuguese Nun is appalling, Blue Valentine is good.

I thought The Kings Speech was pretty good, saw it last month. Assume its still showing.

    UNQUOTE.

    Mixed feelings about that film.

I liked the concept, but didn’t you think that the premise was cleverer than the film itself?

The first two thirds were very good, but then it seemed to descend into a traditional rom com format.

The Fighter is well worth a watch if it’s still on.

Christian Bale, best character actor of his generation?

i’m going to go and see Source Code on Friday – which is the new film by the Director of “Moon”, Duncan Jones (or Zowie Bowie as I prefer to call him)

Based on something I read I am going to see it having avoided all reviews and synopsis – so I have no idea what it is about. I am told this will enhance my enjoyment of the film, so I’m looking forward to it.

Predictably, I am now thoroughly depressed – I should have watched Blue Valentine in reverse. Not always believable, but fine performances from both the leads (especially Williams, who is adorable as ever).

    Great song, too.

    I agree with him

The scene at the end (in the kitchen) was agony to watch…
