Seems like a good solution to gain capacity on trunk roads. Needs to be higher though as otherwise it will not even clear vans. More of a train than a bus as it runs on rails and 4 can be linked.

Rails…capacity…hmm, I think there might already be something along those lines….

So the bus can’t overtake or be overtaken by anything taller than a small van (fire engine, ambulance?) and would need clear space beneath it if it were to turn onto another road when other traffic might want to go straight on. Sounds like it presents as many problems as it solves.

I do like the idea of a really wide train though.

I think the point is that this uses less space than train or frame, hence easier to retro fit in a buddy area.
