    It’s not about the line on the map it is about the track on the ground.

    I ride paths, I often don’t check maps to see how long the dashes are. I try to ride responsibly and will adjust my riding according to the conditions. Doesn’t seem to be a massive problem in most places – northumberland seems fine but then there aren’t many people up here.

    I grew up near Winter hill. One of my favourite descents other than the one in the video is the one off the side of Great Hill. I think things have moved on in the ten years I’ve been away. It was never great when I was there but numbers seem to have increased and the anti bike voice gotten stronger.
