    Hi, wonder if anyone has had to send money to family in Australia – I can do it with Natwest economy transfer for around £8, guess that might be as cheap as it gets?

    Currencies direct. You have to set up an account, however the improved exchange rate makes the hassle worthwhile depending on the amount being transferred.

    Transferwise seem to be the new way of doing it with good rates.
