I’m looking to do a spring road riding holiday next year and was wondering what would be the best option. My thoughts are getting a cheap Ryanair flight to Girona then hiring a bike and doing some of the local routes. Other options could be Mallorca or Tenerife , anyone done anything similiar. ?

Majorca good – pollensa or there abouts easy access to hills and the roads are in excellent condition – mostly!

Lots of other cyclists out there too – 26 bikes on flight last time I went!!

+1 for Majorca. Puerto Pollensa. We went the last week in April for the past 2 years. There are hundreds of cyclists all over the place, no matter where you are in the mountains you’ll never be alone.

Just make sure you get to Sa Calobra!
