    My chain snapped the other day, i removed the broken links & put in a quick link when i got home
    i noticed there were 4 quick links in total on the chain is this ok, also the chain will be shorter than
    before, i was hoping that i don’t have to replace it as the rear cassette is in good nick & might play
    up with a new chain.

    yup fine though if your chain has broken 3 times it may not be the most reliable?
