  • Need some help – Centre Lock Adapters – work or not?

    Like a numpty, I panic purchased a new rear Shimano wheel before the CRC £12 off deal expired at 1 minute to noon. Of course forgot that Shimano wheels are centre lock and I need 6 bolt. Do adapters work OK? Will the disc be in line for non-shimano brakes?

    If they do, I’m going to have to buy an adapter (more expensive than the £12 I saved). If not a perfect solution I guess I’ll just return it.

    They work fine. I run XT wheels and formula brakes
