    one of my friends has one on his intense tracer palmer edition…awesome shock and i suspect fitting a custom titanium coil will make it even better

    Would there be any difference in riding performance between the 150 mm db coil il (on airdrop edit) and rct3 deluxe 145 mm (on bird aeris). Just curious what the difference would be and if you can really notice it.

    Other than they are different bikes you mean?

    Better is subjective – for me the IL coil is better than the monarch plus on my suppressor, for my weight, riding style and trail usage.

    The option to fit a coil shock is certainly a tick in the plus column for me. I’m not sure if that option exists on the bird.
