    what is going on? it is due by the end of the month and the reminder was sent a couple of weeks ago as. Has it gone up since they sent the reminder?

    Most road tax classes went up in the budget whenever that was. The web site has the correct amount i'm afraid.

    £215 was the pre April rate, 2010 rate now £245

    what a pee-take this is, sending reminders for £215 and wanting £245, £30 increase in one go? 😈

    That's sealed my vote, got a 0% pay rise this year thanks to Labours incompetence to govern 😡

    Not all car tax has gone up, some has dropped, so it is not the motorists getting stuffed again, it's those with more polluting cars getting stuffed.

    Its not an environmental tax. If we all switched to Aygo/107's the Government would whack up the tax on those to ensure a steady growing income.
