being a regular caravaner (yes I know but the kids love it, especially the big one! 😀 )I want to fit a set of monroe air max adjustable rear shock absorbers to a peugeot 406 saloon. Can I get a set to fit this car and if so how much including fitting?

Have you looked at mad suspension systems? We use these at work on citroen vans progressive or helpers might suit your needs for towing. We fit them because our vans run fully loaded all the time.

There’s a place near Brackley that does excellent suspension upgrades.

Trouble with doing anything with Peugeots is they have very specific shock absorbers, changing them can change the ride drastically, you’d be be better putting an assistor spring on then when you’re not loaded then the damping won’t be affected.
