    hi all,
has anyone ridden the canyon nerve AM?
everyone is raving about the nerve xc which is definitely amazing value.
however, the nerve am 5 is £180 more than the xc and has basically the same spec, has an extra 20mm travel but is a full kg heavier so it falls against other bigger brands with last year sale prices at nearly £1400.
the specialized stumpy and lapierre zesty all have 140mm travel but are quite a bit lighter than the nerve am…
also noticed the proceed bike at chainreaction, anyone seen/ridden one, i think it’s pretty heavy but solid as hell!?
    but which is better!??
any other suggestions around £1400 for ~140mm travel, all mountain all dayer?

Cant comment on the canyon but have a 2010 Stumpy Fsr comp and its the best bike ive ridden bar none, nice and light at 27lbs and really really nice to ride, went for the medium at 5′ 10″ and its nice and compact.
Have ridden a Zesty 314 2010 and that was real nice also but put me off with having no lockout on the rear shock!
