I know you can do it on Pikes but can you do it with Reba’s. I’m looking to up them from 120 to 140mm

    Thanks

Depends on the model as to what you need.

Solo air needs a new air shaft.

Dual air needs travel reducers removing.

Dual position air needs a new airside setup.

Depends on the model. Most 29er max out at 120

    I didn’t think rebas went past 130mm?

Thanks folks, they’re RC 29 Solo air spring.

A quick Google doesn’t show any reba replacements over 120mm, anyone know who might stock them?

There are 140mm Rev and Pike ones though, are they a different size?

You are stuck at 120mm max travel on that fork.

Some rebas are a bit less than 120mm. I got about 115 out of mine

The reason there is no 140 is the same as the reason there is no 200mm travel air spring – you won’t have enough stanchion in the bushings and end up wrecking your fork and probably your face!

Some of the QR rebas are only supposed to go up to 100mm I believe. The clue on the solo air seems to be if the stanchions have 80, 100 and 120mm travel sag markers. If they only have 80 and 100mm then don’t go over 100.

Never mind, thanks for the help.
