    I heard you can just about get them off and re-use them even though its not advised [cheapskate mode]

    They’re not designed to be re-used, you can do it, particularly if you have some of those quick-link pliers, but I’d not do it myself, I’d just get KMC reusable links.

    just buy a different branded one? kmc or connex (im using connex at the mo and its been faultless)….i mangled the sram one trying to get it off, waste of time!

    clarks do them as well about 2quid on CRC….the connex one is a breeze though no tool required and its not come apart so far…

    I have a pack of KMC ones somewhere – just biding my time until I find them 😉 My memory is not so good anymore – I put them somewhere……

    @Loco – similar but they arn’t designed to come apart afterwards.
