  • Can I use a 9spd front mech on a 10spd drivetrain?

Simple question really. The front mech on the little lady’s bike is one of those top swing abominations who’s main design feature is that they accumulate enormous levels of cr@p and consequently bung up. I want to swap it for a conventional swing mech, and have a 9spd one in the spares box. The bike is 10spd.

    Will it work okay?
