  • Can I just buy a 203mm adapter and rotor and fit them to my brakes?

As above, and with this, will I be able to take the 180mm off the front and put it on the back?

What is on the back now?

A 180 front adapter does not generally do 180 on the back the spacing of the bolt holes is generally compatible with a 20mm smaller disc at the back unless things have changed recently?

160mm on the back. If I have to buy a new adapter for the back thats no biggie as if the front is changed ill have a spare 180 rotor.

Depends on your forks, some aren’t warranted for 203mm.

And the frame, some only have clearance for 160 or 180 rotors.

    Frame and fork are ?

    Fork is Rockshox XC32TK 120mm.

    Some frames won’t take a 180mm rear, mine won’t.

    160 rear = 180 front
    180 rear = 200 front

    etc

Maximum rotor size for XC32s is 210mm so you will be fine, no idea what the largest rotor the back will take though.

Meh My Pikes are listed as 200mm maximum, and Rockshox said that they wouldn’t fit…. strange i’m now running 203mm rotors front and rear
