    A friend is doing a calendar & would like to know what species these fish are.

    Pic 1:

    Yellow finned Cubanfish

    Pic 2: Black and white striped Cubanminifish

    I prefer the first one, grilled with chunky chips

    Striped Dottyback (Sankeys Dottyback) maybe…the second one?

    1) Schoolmaster snapper

    2). some kind of Goby or blenny. Perhaps an engineer goby.

    I reckon a sharpnose goby – Elacatinus evelynae, as the Striped Dottyback is a Red Sea fish.

    In fact, I reckon this fella’s even sitting on the same kind of coral…
