    Following on from this thread are there any campsites around Pembrokeshire or up the West coast of Scotland that allow camp fires?

    Get round the rule by getting a raised fire pit.

    The wooden wigwams at Tyndrum hve camping and each pitch has an old truck wheel outside and they sell firewood etc in the shop. We had a great party there

    That’s good to know about Tyndrum – also the place to get the best fish suppers in Scotland.

    Red Squirrel campsite in Glencoe allows fires but insists they are extinguished by 11pm.
