Looking at camera’s as the other half would like a new one. It needs to be small and within the budget of £100 or less.

So far I have been looking at the Sony Cybershot and the Nikon Coolpix….

I am sure there are lots of others, but I am sure the STW massive can shorten my length of time in research…. 🙂

I bought a Nikon coolpix for my dad not long back and it’s been excellent.

Quick to take pics and a decent zoom for a compact.

Quality is good enough for 99% of the stuff he needs and it was only marginally over your budget in Currys.

I like the Lumix range. Picture quality is good and the controls are in the right place (for me)

Bloke at work recently bought an IXUS 230, which can be had for a bit over £100. I was really impressed with it and the online reviews rate it pretty highly.
