    Is there a maximum pressure (and therefore rider weight) for an RP2 shock? I can't find the answer on the Fox website.

    I've just finished building my new Dawg up from a frame and I'm trying to set up the shock and it doesn't seem to take any more than 10 bar of pressure. This is about 50% sag for me. Is the answer:
    a) loose some (more) weight;
    b) get it serviced;
    c) dig out the 5th Element knocking around in the garage?

    I have always understood the max pressure for Fox shocks is 300 psi and you usually put in approximately 1 psi for every pound you weigh with all your riding gear on and then alter up or down to get the right sag

    edit: just had a thought your shock pump could be goosed if you cant get more than 10 bar (140 psi) in your shock

    Try another pump?

    140psi is pretty low. As above, they do up to about 300psi. I run mine at about 200.
