Fantastic day on the bike it was. I would recommend it to anyone.
The start of the climbing was lovely weather, but the mist came in and came in good at the top.
The very top section was proper hard to ride, and the wind didn’t help, but I managed most of it with just a few dabs etc.
Just 5 minutes later, a rock leapt out at me and smashed my rear mech off, so I did nearly the whole descent without a chain. It was awesome though… Shame the bottom section of the bridleway is mostly road/track.
It was great staying nearby to Coed Y Brenin for the weekend but finding plenty of other stuff to do.
The day before we did a loop around Pont Scethin which was also brilliant.
Stayed at Graig Wen campsite and had an excellent poo with a view in the Tree Bog.
I’m sure I’ve looked in before (just out of interest) but it was nailed shut last time we were there… having the cottage mean’t we did need to try it out 😉
