    Help please.

I need to pull a few cable out of a building and leave in a damp manhole until required for the new building.

What can I use to waterproof the ends of the cables?

    Thanks in advance

Waterproof junction box, then sealed in a freezer bag.

What kind of cables are you going to be laying??

Denso tape will make a waterproof seal. Tools station sell it as petro tape. Or if you want to go pro heatshrink caps.

    Self-amalgamating tape, most excellent stuff.

Does that not leave a horrible sticky residue?
