Fitting a concealed toilet cistern for a friend have fitted plenty of toilets in the past either with push button flush’s or standard lever type. It seems in the world of concealed cisterns their are 2 types the standard lever type which gives you a very small range of handles to choose from or the cable operated push button type. I am wary of the push button type, it just sounds a nightmare in waiting.

Anybody got any experience of them.

Is it cable or pneumatic? I have fitted three Geberit pneumatic flushes in our house and all three are performing fine after seven years.

Can’t help you on cable though.

had two of the Torbec cable ones.

in both cases the buttons broke and you can’t buy them as spares, just the whole unit.

    I’ve got something else now.
