    Does anyone know of a nice cheap place to stop for 1 night near Grosmont on Thurday 20th May? There are 4 of us doing the offraod C2C and we need a bed for the night in that area.

    doing the road c2c this weekend, will let you know about the places we are staying at, the routes are quite similar

    I am doing the off road route in September and I would be keen to hear all about both of you guys rides and experience. The big problem we are having is getting to Whitehaven to start as most trains will only allow two bikes at a time and the ticket prices are crazy.
