    Hi new stumpjumper fsr comp arrived today, busy putting it together but unsure how the front axle works.
    It looks like a maxle but the lever is fixed. Do i just tighten it up holding the nut on the other end??

    As in the lever doesn’t lever or the lever doesn’t rotate? What forks? Sure it’s not just stiff?

    the lever is fixed to the axle at 90 degrees.
    It is the same DT swiss one that is on the home page of singletrack world. This is new to me having only used QR skewers
