Looking for some help as others on the forum seem to come across great offers that I never see. Need to replace the fork on my 2009 Marin after finding a huge crack in the steerer tube this afternoon. Don’t want to spend a load of money as the bike only really get used over winter. So I am looking for suggestions for a 120mm fork with a 1/18th steerer and don’t really want to spend more than £250, less if possible.

I found trying to buy anything with a straight steerer and 9mm QR quite a challenge – it’s all tapered steerers and 15mm bolt-through now.

Could get some used Rebas (even those are quite hard to come by).

Look for some X Fusion Velvets if you dont need QR, I’ve got some and they are really really smooth controlled fork. Infact I could be selling mine next weekend if you’re interested send me an email over…

Might be an idea to have a look around for the Rockshox recons.

I got some absolutely mint Reba RLT 120mm 1 1/8th and 15mm on the classifieds for £140. Stick a wanted on there and see what you get. You can get a bargain if you wait long enough

    Try http://www.flatoutcycles.co.uk

They specialise in buying and selling bike parts and I’ve bought and sold forks that match your requirements from them before.
