Doing the ride this weekend, whats it like past devices on the canal path route, to anybody who has done it. Will hopefully do Reading in 10-12 hours plus stopping. Ride back sat morning. 200 miles. Havent done that many miles before and will be interesting on a full suss

The tow path through Devizes past the 'tower' of locks is easily do able on a road bike. Lots of strollers to negotiate. The cafe at the top is really good.

The path gates narrower and rougher east of Devizes.
