Staying with the inlaws a few miles up the road…
Been sunny 90% of the time, with minor showers.
Went to a local bike shop (slam69, nice lot) to buy mud tyres And was advised to stick with what I had (nobby nic) as the FOD doesn’t get proper ‘claggy’ mud, and the roots will trouble most tyres anyway! So…. Hopefully it will have the chance to dry out a bit as the forecast weather hasn’t fully happened, and the surface won’t be a muddy churned up mess……

Nobby Nics would be fine there after this weather, you’ll never need a full mud tyre in the FOD

What about after 100 odd riders have ridden the course before you and it’s raining as forecast?
