What a stunning day. Classic 3 summit loop starting at mynydd du forest. Not that many riding shots but when it looks like this, bikes seem a bit secondary. It was wet under-tyre and proper muddy in places. We didn’t care.

It was just so still. I’ve ridden that route many times in all four seasons. And until yesterday it’s always been windy especially on the summits. The water at Gwyn Fawr was like glass. Looking out of the window into the fog today is making Monday especially hard 😉
Looks awesome. Considering the folks live relatively close by and brother lives in the Brecon’s I’ve done very little riding there. Any chance of a link to the route so I can download it to do sometime?
Alex – That looks amazing, ive never ridden around Brecon, and that has made me really want to. Do you have a GPX or a bit more of a route description please?
Ah, the joys of the superstarcomponents crank. That takes me back
I do remember doing that ride with only one brake as my rear rotor hadnt arrived for the rohloff though (not SS, I wasnt quite so deranged back then). Made the descent to Llanbedr entertaining. I think I had to bail into the brambles once the front brake had pumped up to nothingness 🙂
Great day to be up there. Me and my mate did the Gap route from Talybont and then skirted round the peaks before coming up and over them from the Corn-Du end. Fun ride and all the Bikers, of which we met two groups of four, and all the walkers were very friendly.
Top of a Welsh mountain in November, in T shirt and shorts, who’d have thought it!
