Normal? should I send it back or just fix it?

When one half of the disc is true, the other half appears to be just out enough to contact the pad with a light rub.

For that amount of rub, I would just try bending it to see if it would true. Probably less hassle than sending one back and getting a replacement. I’ve seen some so bent that the wheel wouldn’t turn at all.

Meh….I don’t think Mountain biking is good for me…..set’s off OCD I reckon…..nothing ever just works out the box does it. Will give fixing them a go!

    That’s totally normal.
When you use it the first time the heat thats generated will true it up.

Did you tighten the rotor bolts one after the other or in opposing pairs? Rotors never seem to come out of the box perfectly straight. Always need a little tweaking, even when you do the rotor bolts properly.

    WTF????

How hard is it to make them straight?(everyone else seems to manage) If it were me it would be back to the shop for a new rotor.
