My dad has recently got back on a bike in an effort to get fit. He's got a commencal normal with V's but would like discs. I'd like to stick some discs on as a birthday present but I'm not sure on my options. Anyone offer me some help?

The wheels are shimano centrelock hubs, the levers are dual control. So that i dont need to buy new shifters too i'd like dual control for the new levers. So what are my options – Im assuming i have to have shimano in order to have dual control and centrelock compatability.

Merlin and wiggle don't seem to have what im after but CRC looks a good bet. What's worth buying? Ideally £150 max.

get some xt, not too expensive and dependable quality.
