Im going to order some spare pads and not really sure what does what, what im after most of all is stopping power, but I see you can get organic, sintered, Kevlar
also I have sintered in at the moment and they do make a fair bit of noise when they are wet
    cheers

    What brand on what disks?

We use Über pads. Both of s run shimano brakes.
The good lady was having a problem with sintered pads on shimano disks. The race matrix pads sorted that, but just didn’t last. We are in the peak, but 4 rides was getting expensive!

Anyway. I think generally Kevlar have good stopping power, by a short lifespan. I run sintered with shimano XT. A good balance between longevity and stopping powe.

I think superstar. And disco brakes do a mix and match n pads so order and try a couple of compounds that way
Are you absolutely sure they were sintered pads you had? Shimano sometimes ship with organic pads..
