Christmas night out for 3 middle aged gents next Friday. Out straight after work so would prefer to break up the beerfest with an event of some sort. Last night outs have been to The Stand and Drygate for comedy nights.

So any suggestions for something to do (apart from the obvious C&H) that isn’t a comedy club?

Get yourself down to the St Enoch Centre and vist Santa in his grotto.

You can sit on his knee and tell him what a good boy you’ve been.

He might bring you a new garage door if you ask nicely 😉

The Golf Lounge??? Aye, right age I suppose. Great if you love watching paint dry.

I do 🙂 but I’m not a golferist, although one of the chaps is. That’s a reason not to go.

I’m not sure about these dread/escape room things – do they involve beer?

St Lukes sounds like an option to kick things off then.

Genuinely thinking for the last 10 minutes what to do, the golf lounge popped in to my head but probably speaks less of me that I cannot think of anything to do other than go to the pub…

Good idea, drygate don’t do them in the evenings but west do one at 6pm which might be doable.

I hate the very though of going near a casino

usually specify sobriety beforehand, you’ll be fine with a few pints before no doubt, I was.

Think we’ll probably just end up in Finnieston, the students should have gone home for Christmas by then 🙂

Self-administer some Rohypnol, then hit the Polo Lounge.

Person who wakes up farthest from the starting point wins.

Yes I was unsure which establishment he was referring to. And I’m not sure you’ll still get a pint of shammy dab these days

If you find a pub, and stay in it long enough whilst keeping the beer flowing, you won’t even need to think about ‘what to do’…
