I pulled this together from worn, broken, old or forgotten bike bits found in my shed and it has been brilliant fun to ride. The only recent money spent on this has been £4.99 on disc pads as the old ones were contaminated.
I don’t know if my Strava PRs are a result of the bike, the trail conditions or just the “new bike” effect but it is certainly more lively than my main bikes (I have had 2 offs in 3 rides).

What thrown together austerity bikes have you got?

I was gonna post the Mmmbop I built up out of spare bits recently. Then I realised that I’ve slowly been changing out those bits too so the only ‘original’ spares are the drivetrain and fork. Still cheap overall though, and way more fun than it has any right to be.

It’s really tiny Op, is it for a mouse?

Some of the components appear to be made out of cheese so possibly. 15 minutes editing time and I still failed to embed a decent photo :oops:Hobgoblin is stronger than I was expecting. Just got to revive an old dropper post for it now.
