    At this junction near Rossthwaite, I’ve ridden the southern track straight to Rossthwaite before. Is the northen track through the woods towards Red Brow any better/different/more fun?

    Marginally 🙂 its a narrower less trodden ‘path’ rather than a track.

    I tend to alternate!

    Both good, I alternate them so I don’t get bored. I prefer the one through the woods, its looser and steeper towards the end.
