He is, in fact, an amazingly clever chap behind it all, Boris not Peter.
"Behind it all" ? Behind all what ?........the bumbling idiot image ?
He's not that clever. The cleverest thing he's managed to do is to convince some very naive and gullible people that his stupidity is all just an image. So when he comes out with one of his inevitable gaffes, or acts of cringing buffoonery, these people automatically dismiss it as part of his act. How many politicians would dearly love to have their own gaffs so readily dismissed.
Johnson makes gaffes on all fronts
Haha Boris......you big lovable fool !
Whoosh!Posted 9 months ago # -
Whoosh!
Haha....I completely missed the point you were making !!!
Which was of course : that Boris isn't clever at all !
What a muppet I turn out to be
I guess you must have "fooled" me, when you said : "He is, in fact, an amazingly clever chap behind it all"
.
Yeah right.

Oh dear ernie! In your pursuit of either trying to look smart or make me look dumb, you have, unfortunately, failed.
I'll give you a hand to save you further embarrassement.Posted 9 months ago # -
so why not draft new rules that anyone who wants to become an MP/Mayor, to represent society, has to live in a dirty East End tower block for a year on benefits or work in a shop and live on those means. Nothing else. and then at the end of the year they can have all their old privilideges/bank accounts back or whatever. I think tits like Boris would last less than a week.
I reckon the ones that got through the stringent means test actually gave a toss and should be allowed to be an MP/Mayor!

Oh how embarrassing........I didn't read someone else's post. It was just you trying to be funny/clever.
Of course a simple "I was responding to Deadly's comment" would have sorted it, instead of the "whoosh"
No, I don't always read everyone's post on every thread........how bad is that ?

Simley or no smiley an insult is still an insult and as such has been reported.

I read the title as "Boris Johnson - waffling tool".
Shouldn't he be concentrating on being Mayor rather than getting into competition with George Foreman.

cares only about his banker chums
axed the western extension to the congestion charge, imagine the burden on the poor folk of the royal borough of kensington and chelsea the (richest borough in the country)
leaving tfl a multimillion pound shortfall to make up by wacking up everyone elses tickets (25% rise since boris came in)
changed kens cycle superhighway scheme instead apurpose built network of seperate cycle lanes he painted a few existing cycle lanes blue
axed kens plans for a supertax on the most cars with massive engines, eg lambos, ferraris and chelsea tractors london is still the most polluted ciy in europe and we are due big fines from the eu this year
and axed
got rid of bendy buses leading to massice overcrowding on the bus routes, anyone tried to get the no29 from camden heading north in rush hour or on a saturday?
and how much are his ridiculous routemasters costing -8million to deliver the first 5 buses!!!!
hes alienated the met police- was forced to step down as chairman of the MPA after bragging about how he would be 'top cop' and get more police on the streets instead the met is as much of a joke as boris these days
even project hes 'delivering' were started by ken, borisbikes!?, crossrailthe guys a devious, menace and makes even slimy ken look like a decent chap

he is Politician. you expect anything else? at least you can point at him an laugh. most of them are really grey and boring.

Kimbers makes some exellent points, though we must not forget he WAS voted in therefore any misery suffered on the parts of the individuals that voted Tory, is entirely down to themselves and thus do not deserve any sympathy...
In all honesty I don't blame anyone for voting for Boris though as the only other options were either a 65 year old pensioner or a homosexual policeman whose entire campaign consisted of attending 'gay pride' marches around London.
WHAT WERE YOU EXPECTING??!

Boris rides a bike so he must be intelligent.

Gosh, what a pathetic little loser you turn out to be. I can't imagine reporting someone for calling me a dickhead ..... how the **** do manage in the real world ? What are trying to do - get me banned cos you can't cope with me ?
That's quite an eye-opener that is - I would have put you above that sort of stuff, even Zulu-Eleven and Woppit wouldn't stoop that low.
Still, you're the one who's got to live with the fact that you're an insecure snitch - not me. So you have my sympathies mate.

I'll have five of your English pounds with you that don didn't really report it ernie. Common practice these days to say something like *post reported* if you're having a giggle, etc. Post reporters don't normally admit to it openly.
Anyway, my original point is in the bin long ago because the usual suspect didn't actually turn up to tell us how clever Bozza actually is. Perhaps because he realises what a bumbling buffoon he actually is.

You really have seen your arse haven't you ernie?
Posted 9 months ago # -
Post reporters don't normally admit to it openly.
Yep, I would have thought exactly the same. It's the fact that the "offending" bit has been moderated which made me suspect that the was telling the truth. I don't think it warranted any editing, and as I doubt that anyone was offended on his behalf, I concluded that he had indeed probably reported it.
EDIT : TJ regularly admits to reporting posts, some people do.

I reported it. I don't mind banter, I'm happy when the rough and tumble happens, but if you'd have called me a dickhead in a bar because you were making a fool of yourself, you'd have got a slap.
Grow up, stop whinging and get over it.
Insult me again with language like that and you'll be reported again, if you can't handle the banter without resorting to insults, stay away.Posted 9 months ago # -
Ooops...as a resident shortarse, I'm stepping out of this one and let you sort it yourselves. Sorry, should have kept out of it.

Not something I do often nor for total trivia. I do do it tho. I expect ( and know from conversations with them) that the mods give my reports exactly the consideration they deserve
Insults I don't bother with
Edit - don Simon really reported ernie for calling him a dickhead? How pathetic. Jeepers I get called worse than that most days. I mean Ernie called me both a wishy washy liberal and a member of the soft left - thats a far worse insult

LoL @ TJ

Insults I don't bother with
Sorry I should've clarified that. Yes, it's posts which you deem to be offensive that you report - not personal insults. Otherwise you'd be hitting the report button continuously
I don't report anyone - never have.if you'd have called me a dickhead in a bar because you were making a fool of yourself, you'd have got a slap.
In a bar ? In a bar ???? What's a "bar" gotta do with it ? Is it 'fighting talk' when you're out drinking ? You turn out to be an even bigger **** than I thought
Posted 9 months ago # -
I shall report you next time you call me "soft left" I'm well 'ard I am
Posted 9 months ago # -
ernie, you're embarrassing yourself again. Grow up, don't get so wound up, get over it. I hadn't realised you were so sensitive and I apologise for upsetting you so much.
Posted 9 months ago # -
you're embarrassing yourself again
You don't even believe that do you ?
I mean about me feeling "embarrassed". You know me well enough to know that I don't give a monkeys.
