Seems that Border Terrier’s are popular amongst the STW community so wondered if anyone new of any current litters – looking for a female?

Live in Milton Keynes but happy to travel 70ish miles. Am pursing a couple through Kennel Club/Champ Dogs.

    Cheers

Hi. We are looking actively at the moment through the KC site for a BT but it is pretty hard to find one before they go. We are checking daily too. I’ll check out the Pets4Home website too.

Popular in general then. Perhaps STWers should get together and start breeding (the dogs that is), you could get a nice bike with the proceeds.

Hi Just been to a breeder this morning and paid a deposit on Sonic. The little fella is coming home in 3 weeks. To the OP – they have two dogs (not bitches) remaining. Breeder is in Surrey. Lots of pictures in 3 weeks time! breeder had a waiting list of 20 people for bitches

Hi, our 3 year old Border Terrier Izzy had a litter 10 weeks ago, only 3 out of the 5 pups survived. We have kept one male and both his brother and sisters went to homes in London and Essex (we live in Swansea) be prepared to travel if you want to get pups that have a good breeding line. We didn’t advertise the pups they were sold through Southern Border Terrier Society. If you contact Helen Axford at the society and she will advise you of any litters or prospective litters. We found her to be very helpful, it seems that word travels fast when there are litters of Borders around.

Hi Jase, is there any reason you only want a bitch?

We found ours trough the border terrier owners club. Rang the local branch up and found a breeder. Not cheap but a great dog all in all, takes time and consistency to train but will run for ages and is great with kids. Can be an arse with other dogs if he’s on his lead but usually just Labradors! Like a full size dog but small enough to pick up and chuck over a stile.

Already have a male dog so would prefer to have a female.

Off to crufts on Friday so will have a look at the Terrier stalls.

Extremely popular dogs now when we had our first one people weren’t sure what kind of dog she was.
