    Hi all,

I only get mobile reception/data right next to the doors, or on the balcony, of my new place. I do not have wifi (and it’s not an easy option). Is there anyway I can put some kind of booster by the door, that will allow me to get reception and data inside?

I have done a little bit of reading, and seen that signal boosters are illegal in the UK. I’m in India at the moment, so assume that won’t be a problem. So, with that in mind, any suggestions? My GF is coming out on Wednesday, so if there’s something I can order on Amazon tonight for her to bring that would be perfect!

Also, if it can boost more than one phone’s reception – that would be great!

    Thanks,
    Duane

You’ll need a broadband line – all the home ‘cells’ are basically VPNs back into the provider using your home line. You’d be best looking for one from a local cell provider as otherwise it may be tunelling halfway back across the world, which could be an issue.
