  • Bontrager SE4 tyres – how does the latest version compare to previous ?

    Previous version was 27.5 x 2.35 like this one – 27.5 x 2.35and the latest version is 27.5 x 2.4 latest version 27.5 x 2.4
    I found the previous 2.35 version rolled nicely, tough, grippy and came up to 2.35/2.4 in width. The latest version has a different tread and slightly wider claimed width.
    Anyone tried them both and can give a comparison ?

    Not tried them but was looking at one for the rear.
    Apparently the new ones roll a bit quicker (more ramped centre treads) but don’t come up any larger.

    Be good to hear if anyone has tried both.
