I've got a mint set of 1.8 Dry-x that I was thinking of putting on for the current rainy season. Is this madness, or has anyone had good experiences of these in the wet? Should I just bite down and get some mud-x? The chap in the shop seemed to think dry-x's worked pretty well in the wet.

    Views/abuse welcome.

I have a 2.1 one. We sell them in our shop. I would never recommend them to anyone. They're an awful tyre. No grip, and mine cut very easily. Don't go near them.

Run the 2.1 on the rear of my 69er. Love it as a rear cracking tyre, fast rolling, does offer grip and lasted ages and stood up to the slate and rocks no problem

Myself and Matt used them all week at Transwales no problems 🙂
