Loving the new track Calgary. Ergo, I'm looking forward to the new album muchly. If it's anywhere near the first one, it'll still be brilliant

Yep. eotr performance was magical, best of any I've seen there I think. Googled him today randomly and so excited for new album in 2 weeks
Probably won't see him on tour tho
There is a Brizzle date tho DD, think is sold out but might be tickets on scarlet mist etc.

God, I love Bon Iver. For Emma Forever is hammered on my Ipod.

See, I knew you would emsz
For me, the only worry is that the new album won't have the back story of For Emma... It was the bleakness of For Emma's backstory that brought one into the album. Calgary does sound different (bit of electricalonic geetar in there), but in avert good way.

It's because we have outstanding taste.
I'm easy really (about the new album) my intro to him was the track "Woods" so i already thought it was pretty weird stuff, the fact that the rest of the album was so gorgeous was just an added bonus.

Theres a stream of the new album here

It's quite nice. Not my usual sort of thing, but very listenable.
......it will not be my folky/guitary album of the year though, due to this:

£3.99 for the MP3 album over on amazon at the moment. Looking forward to a listen

Really liked the previous album, but was a bit concerned having read the review on the Times. Have just listened to the streaming and think it sounds good, which is a relief.

Deadly, itunes had for sale on the 17th OK, so only 4 days, nearly a week....
Posted 11 months ago # -
Sounds great on first listen. I like it.
EDIT: emsz, yeah, I guessed it had come out on Friday. I wait till I see it for sale in motorway services.
