Just seen that you can get a Boardman Pro FS for £1,350 from halfords with a RS Pike.

Surely there cannot be a better value bike out there? I was scouring the the classifieds for an Orange 5 since my ST4 was stolen, but this will be cheaper, newer and with warranty back up.

Does look like a stonkingly good value bike. No idea how well it rides.

You can get a Codeine 29er for £350 more with similar components. I really like mine but I’m not sure if it’s £350 better.

I had looked at the 27.5 one and was tempted, but the Boardman components alone must be worth close to £1,300 from CRC, Wiggle etc

ETA, just bought it, can always buy a frame in the future and port the stuff over if its a dog..

Can you get a 10% BC discount too?

I wouldn’t bother waiting for owner feedback myself, nobody’s gonna say their new bike is a dog.

If you like the geometry go for it. I would.
