I am looking to get a new android phone with Bluetooth 4 (maybe a Motorola Moto G) and am looking to use a suitable heart rate monitor on a chest band. Does anyone else use similar technology? All tips gratefully received.

Topeak one works well on iPhone 5 and half the price of the wahoo one.

Didn’t think there were any BT4 HRM’s working with Android yet.

Edit: Seems to be more of a case of not all Android versions supporting BT4 low energy fully.

    HTC one has BT4..

If you have a garnin heart rate monitor, you supposedly can use the suunto mini movestick plugged into an OTG cable.
You also need to install ant USB service + and ant + Service on your phone

I forgot to mention that your android phone needs to support the USB host function..
